Peter Morson

Peter's work is strongly influenced by his environment - the Lincolnshire Fens.

Flat vast tracts of reclaimed and crisscrossed by drainage canals and dykes. A landscape dominated by climate and managed agriculturally. An unnatainable horizon, no hills or valleys to interrupt. The constants in this linear landscape are vertical, church spires or trees.

From such an environment Peter borrows some of the reality and hopes that his interpretations and reflections on paper convey some of its calm and serene beauty.
